Google Music Frame runs Google Music web interface in its own window and provides integration with Ubuntu sound menu and notifications. It also remembers last session and the current view (album, genre list, etc.)

Check out the screencast below:

As Google Music Beta is available for US users only, others may get a message that We’re sorry, Google Music Beta is currently only available in the United States. There has been known workaround for this which is to use any free US proxy available on the web to request invitation/create a new account from a web browser (not too sure if it still works).

Install Google Music Frame from Stable Releases PPA by running the following commands (Natty only):

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:janousek.jiri/google-music-frame-releases
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install google-music-frame

Install Google Music Frame from Daily Build PPA by running the following commands (Natty and Oneiric):
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:janousek.jiri/google-music-frame-daily
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install google-music-frame

UPDATE: Oneiric packages in daily build PPA have failed to build, so you will not be able install Google Music Frame form the PPA in Ubuntu 11.10. However, Natty packages are working fine in Oneiric which you can download from these links: 32bit build64bit build
